As a club we contribute a great deal to the local charities in Sheffield, we participate in and run a number of events every year, and are always looking for new ways to raise money.
Every year the club participates in its own version of Bummit hitchhike charity event where a few brave folk cycle all the way to the chosen destination. This year it was Glasgow and 8 took on the 240-mile ride.
Early May last year a few keen riders took on the Nether Padley climb from Grindleford in the Peak District. Not only did they complete it but the club also rode the equivalent distance of riding to space throughout the day, all to raise money for charity.
Do It For You
Do it for you is an annual charity event run at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. It is a fun, family day for young people who have received cancer treatment in Sheffield and the surrounding area. The club always attends and run a cycling based activity for the children.

This event is run every year and gives the opportunity for everyone in the club to do their bit. The idea is to ride on a set of rollers for over 24 hours, with participants of the club riding an hour each. The event raises money for Jubilee Food Bank.
